A ROAR METHOD EVENT
Release and
Restore.
You’ve been carrying more than you should have to. You know how to function - but you’re running on fumes. This event is built for the moment when enough is enough, and you are finally ready to feel relief that actually lasts.
A 90-minute experience for women who are done holding it all together alone.
You look fine from the outside.
But inside, something keeps building.
You feel like you are one small thing away from completely losing it - and then feel guilty when you do.
You are high-functioning, capable, driven - and so, so tired of pretending that’s the whole story.
You are overwhelmed and overstimulated, but you keep pushing because there’s no other option (or so it feels).
You’ve tried breathing through it, journaling, pushing it down. You are ready for something that actually moves it.
You want relief - real relief - without feeling out of control or like you’re falling apart in front of others.
Your nervous system has been in overdrive for so long, calm feels like a foreign language. You want to learn it.
ROAR is a framework for real regulation - not just calming down.
THE METHOD
Most “stress relief” skips the hard part. ROAR moves through the full cycle: releasing what’s built up, orienting your nervous system to safety, and learning to regulate in real time - so the relief actually sticks.
ROAR
Emotions don’t disappear when you push them down - they accumulate. Release creates a safe, intentional way for built-up tension to move out of your body, completing the stress cycle instead of looping it.
RELEASE
After activation, your nervous system needs a signal that it’s safe now. Orienting brings you back into the present moment - out of threat mode and into your actual surroundings.
ORIENT
This is where lasting change happens. You will learn and practice tools that help your nervous system settle - skills you can use in the moments that matter most, not just in a therapy room.
and REGULATE
WHAT CHANGES
Imagine walking out feeling like yourself again.
WALKING IN
Tension sitting heavy in your chest and shoulders
Emotions that feel stuck with nowhere to go
One more thing away from the edge
Exhausted from holding it all together
No tools that actually work in the moment
WALKING OUT
A body that’s actually had a chance to exhale
Emotions that have moved through, not bottled back up
Grounded, clear, and more spacious inside
A sense of rest that didn’t require a vacation
Regulation skills that are yours to keep
Structure. Safe. Guided the whole way through.
THE EXPERIENCE
Every part of this experience is intentional. You won’t be left figuring it out alone, and you won’t leave feeling activated.
Here’s exactly what to expect.
We take a few minutes to arrive, get comfortable, and ease into the space. Group agreements are reviews so everyone knows what to expect, followed by brief, optional introductions. No pressure - just presence.
1
Settle in Together
You’ll learn a short, practical overview of how stress builds in the body, why emotions get stuck, and what it actually means to complete the cycle. This isn’t a lecture - it’s the piece that makes everything else makes sense.
2
Understanding the Stress Cylce
You’ll write down the emotions, thoughts, or weight you’re ready to release - turning internal overwhelm into something tangible. This step alone can feel like a small exhale before the bigger one comes.
3
Naming What You’re Carrying
The Smash Room: Letting it Move
In a structured, therapist-guided setting, you’ll break bottles as a physical act of intentional release. This isn’t about rage, or losing control. It’s about giving your body a way to complete what it’s been holding. Every step is your choice.

THE CHILL ROOM: Learning to Regulate
This is where the real work (I think of it as magic) happens. We transition to a calm, intentionally designed space where you’ll learn and practice regulation skills - the tools that help your nervous system settle and stay settled. This is the piece most people have been missing.
“This isn’t just about calming down in the moment. It’s about learning what your nervous system actually needs - and giving it that in real time, so you can do it again and again after you leave.”
The experience is structured so you don’t leave activated. You leave calmer, clearer, and more like yourself - with skills that are yours to keep.

Leaving Reset and Restored
"The chill room isn't a cooldown.
It's the whole point."
THE ROAR METHOD
“I recently attended The Emotional Reset hosted by Annika from Hope for Tomorrow Counseling and it was brilliant. I arrived feeling tense and stressed and was feeling it in every part of my mind and body. Annika took us all through a facilitated session that allowed us to to process, release and ground ourselves. I felt so much better afterwards and took home some practical and simple strategies to support my nervous system that I've already implemented. Annika is a gifted facilitator and I highly recommend her to those seeking support.”
— Jen MorrisWHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING
Founder of Renegade Motherhood
“Annika is amazing! Her mom rage room for an emotional reset was EXACTLY what I needed. She held the space with such care and joy. I learned NEW things about myself that were practical and I could take into my daily life as a mom. AND the release of emotions and regulating afterwards created so much more ease and joy in my life. It's something I think almost any mom would benefit from!”
— Heidi LindemanOwner of Self Grounded Therapy
“The container for the small group event that Annika created allowed me to unmask and process my intense emotions as a neurodivergent mom, business owner, and activist during a week that was especially challenging with the political climate.”

ABOUT THE FACILITATOR
HOPE FOR TOMORROW COUNSELING, LLC
Annika is a therapist specializing in supporting women who are overwhelmed and overstimulated. She works with moms from pregnancy to perimenopause that struggle with anxiety and feeling like they need to hold it all together. She created the ROAR Method because she kept meeting women who knew something needed to change - they just didn’t have a safe, structure place to begin. This event brings that structure to life. Annika will guide every step of the experience, ensuring you feel supported, never pushed beyond your comfort, and fully grounded before you leave. Based on Broomfield, Colorado. Providing therapy in person near Boulder, Colorado, and online throughout the state.
You don’t have to keep carrying it alone.
Relief isn’t just possible - it’s learnable. This event gives you the experience, the skills, and the space to begin. Plus a 20 minute follow up call to see how you are integrating the skills into your daily life. Your nervous system is ready when you are.
